Ī sweet, simple poetry collection that I liked but ultimately left me a little underwhelmed. The majority of the poetic phrasing used I feel I’ve heard it before. I liked that she had emulated rupi kapur’s simplistic poetry style but I felt most lacked true depth and vulnerable exploration. The debut collection of poetry from Lili Reinhart, the actress and outspoken advocate for mental health awareness and body positivity. ![]() I found didn’t connect to many of these poems, there were a few that made me feel comforted, or happy or sad. Let me first say, I listened to this on audiobook and while it was lovely listening to Lili’s voice (and she does have a lovely voice) I regretted that I couldn’t go back to review the poems easily. First loves and first losses feature heavily, as well as dealing with anxiety and depression. In her debut poetry collection, Lili Reinhart offers comfort through her simple lines. ![]()
